Turkish delights

One of the most prevalent signs of Turkish presence in Berlin is the number of street-corner kebab take-out joints. For 2 EUR or so it is possible to get a gyro, or Doner Kebab, which normally contains a healthy portion of vegetables, meat and toasted lavash bread. These quickly became a favorite of mine, as I wandered the city streets for the next two days, relaxing from the bike trip, catching up on my blog, and planning the next stages of my journey.

Another nice thing about the Turkish parts of the city (turks are probably the largest immigrant group here) is the number of cheap (around 1 EUR per hour) internet cafes. I ended up spending a lot of time there in the next couple of days, which were otherwise relatively uneventful.
