France: Roussillon

Andorra and the French city of Perpignan look near each other on the map, but the road there is so windy and mountainous that after driving for 4 hours (including a 2 hour traffic jam at the border), the city still appeared so far away that an earlier stop for the night seemed advisable. Hotel Hexagon in the town of Prada fit the bill, and I had a nice chat with the hotel owner´s wife, who turned out to be Russian.
